Carbondale in the 1960s: Historic Photos from Tom Davis

Carbondale Community Arts is pleased to announce the exhibit, Carbondale in the 1960s: Historic Photos from Tom Davis at the Corridor Gallery in the Carbondale Civic Center. This exhibit highlights a collection of black and white photographs capturing daily life and historic events that took place in Carbondale in the 1960s. Photographer Tom Davis captured these moments while a photojournalist for The Southern Illinoisan, photographer for the Carbondale Community Yearbook, and for his personal photography business.

This exhibit is presented at the Corridor Gallery at the Carbondale Civic Center April 17 through May 19 and is free and open to the public.

The Corridor Gallery in the Carbondale Civic Center is located at 200 S Illinois Ave and is available for viewing Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and during all public events.
